Organizational experience, junior high school.
"Organizational experience, junior high school."
My name is Savitri and I want to share my experience in participating in organizations. In my opinion, everyone who frequently interacts has been involved in organizing. In every environment, whether at home or at school, there is always an organization.
This time, I want to share my experience with the readers. The organizational experiences I've had include being a member of OSIS (Intra-School Student Organization) and Islamic Youth. Although I haven't participated in many, these organizations have been quite interesting and beneficial to me. Organizing allows us to meet many people outside and gain lots of exciting and interesting experiences.
My experience in organizing was during my junior high school years, where I served for 2 terms: Vrayaditasis 2020-2021 in grades 7 and 8, and Aryaratasis 2021-2022 in grades 8 and early 9. I served as the Chair of Department 3 in OSIS Vrayaditasis and as the General Secretary in Aryaratasis.
To join OSIS, I went through stages and tests. Initially, I registered via Google Form, then underwent Quran tests, Interview 1 and Interview 2 tests, followed by interviews and Ldko. It was quite a long process but very enjoyable and enriching.
During the Vrayaditasis period, due to the COVID situation, physical school activities were restricted. So, my colleagues from Department 3 and I organized online programs, such as discussions on heroes and informative lessons about heroes on Instagram @osissmpn2bdg.
During the Aryaratasis period, COVID was no longer present and things were starting to loosen up. During this term, I had a lot of duties and worked on programs with other colleagues. We began having weekly meetings to plan upcoming programs and responsibilities. I also collaborated with my colleagues to create proposals, social media posts, designs, letters, timelines, and attendance records.
Here, I engaged in many exciting activities. The first program we conducted was Teacher's Day, followed by my experience in participating in OSIS. During the new student admissions, along with my friends, I was busy with the orientation program. I was tasked with organizing activities for new students at my school, where the benefits of organizing became apparent. We, along with our friends, discussed and planned to make the activities as interesting as possible by bringing unique foods and wearing funny costumes. After preparing everything diligently, we started the orientation program for new students at my school. After several activities, the program concluded smoothly and as planned.
Many structured, lively, and interesting programs were carried out.
Finally, the term ended, and there was a recruitment for new board members. Through various stages, including induction and inauguration ceremonies, the handover took place.
